Airservices Australia
Airservices Australia was established in July 1995 under the Air Services Act 1995. Airservices Australia is a Government-owned commercial authority responsible for the management of air traffic control over 11 per cent of the world's surface. Airservices Australia's principal functions are: air traffic control and airspace management; aeronautical information; communications; radio navigation aids; search and rescue alerting; and airport rescue and fire fighting services.
Australian Strategic Air Traffic Management Group (ASTRA)
ASTRA, the Australian Strategic Air Traffic Management Group, is Australia's whole of industry Air Traffic Management (ATM) planning body. ASTRA includes Airlines, Airports, Regional Aviation, Pilots, GA and various government organisations.
Aviation
Homepage of the Division, Aviation and Airports Policy. Manages the continuing relationship between the Government and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA), Airservices Australia (Airservices) and Australia's airlines. It also provides aviation security policy advice, as well as developing, monitoring and auditing aviation security standards including any additional security measures required during heightened threat situations.

Aviation Safety
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) is Australia's prime agency for the independent investigation of civil aviation accidents & incidents. In addition to investigating accidents and incidents, the ATSB investigates safety deficiencies based on occurrence trends that could lead to a future accident.

Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA)'s primary function is to conduct the safety regulation of civil air operations in Australia and the operation of Australian aircraft overseas.
International Air Services Commission (IASC)
The International Air Services Commission is an independent statutory authority responsible for the allocation of scheduled international air route capacity to Australian carriers on public benefit grounds. The Commission works with wide ranging public benefit criteria issued by the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government.
New Aviation Security Measures for Carry-on Baggage at International Airports
There are new rules for taking liquids, aerosols and gels on flights into and out of Australia. These rules also apply when transiting on international flights within Australia.
Pilot Centre (Airservices Australia)
The Airservices Australia Pilot Centre is a one-stop information shop for pilots, aeroclubs, flying schools and the broader General Aviation (GA) community. Provides a link to Flying Around, a website designed to give pilots the pilot information on ways to operate a flight in a safe, effective manner reducing the likelihood of being involved in a Violation of Controlled Airspace (VCA).

Sydney Airport Community Forum (SACF)
The Sydney Airport Community Forum is the main body for consultation on the Sydney Airport Long Term Operating Plan. It also addresses the noise impacts and related environmental problems from Sydney Airport in consultation with affected residents.
