Job Capacity Assessment (JCA)
The Job Capacity Assessment (JCA) program, commenced on 1 July 2006 as part of the substantial investment in services to help people find and keep paid employment. JCA identifies a person's ability to work and any barriers they face to getting a job and will directly connect them to employment support services to assist in addressing those barriers. The Department of Human Services (DHS) manages the JCA program and is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of the providers who conduct the Job Capacity Assessments to ensure continuous improvement.

Tools For Your Trade (TFYT)
The Tools For Your Trade Initiative will help to alleviate the financial burden on eligible Australian Apprentices, usually in the first year of their Australian Apprenticeship, by providing tool kits worth up to $800 including GST. Australian Apprentices who start in an Australian Apprenticeship in a trade experiencing skills needs will receive a tool kit after completing the first three months of their apprenticeship.
Youth Pathways
Under Youth Pathways, eligible young people will receive services which include personal one-on-one assistance to help work out strengths, goals and the barriers getting in the way; individual support and guidance to help overcome barriers, and support to achieve their goals. Also provides other services aimed at better equipping young people to successfully make the transition through school and from school to further education, training or employment.
