ABRS supports research on Australian organisms through a Grants and Scholarship scheme and publishes series of books on our Flora and Fauna.
Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS)
The Australian Institute of Marine Science aims to generate the knowledge needed for the sustainable use and protection of the marine environment through innovative, world-class scientific and technological research.
Australian Ocean Data Centre Joint Facility (AODCJF)
The Australian Ocean Data Centre Joint Facility (AODCJF) provides a whole-of-government approach to ocean data management. It is a joint venture between six Australian Government marine data agencies - Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS), Australian Antarctic Division (AAD), Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), CSIRO Marine AND Atmospheric Research (CMAR), Geoscience Australia (GA) and Department of Defence (RAN Directorate of Oceanography and Meteorology).
