Face the Facts from the Australian Human Rights Commission provides clear factual information about immigrants, refugees and Indigenous peoples. Face the Facts draws on information from a variety of sources. The information provided includes laws made by Australian Parliaments, government policies, statistics collected by the Australian Bureau of Statistics and academic research. The aim is to bring all the major issues together and present reliable information in an easy-to-read publication.

Living in Harmony is an Australian Government initiative designed to promote community harmony, build relationships between people and address racism where it occurs in Australia. The initiative is primarily a community based education program aiming to enhance our appreciation and understanding of the society in which we live.

The National Archives holds records about many individuals who arrived from overseas during the 20th century and some who arrived during the 19th century.
