Regional Telecommunications Independent Review
The Regional Telecommunications Independent Review Committee (RTIRC) was established to review the adequacy of telecommunications services in regional, rural and remote parts of Australia. The Committee is now engaging in public consultations and intends to visit a range of rural, regional and remote areas. These visits will take place in the first half of 2008. The Committee is currently finalising its schedule, with specific dates and areas to be visited to be posted to this website shortly.

Review of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003
The Attorney-General, the Hon Robert McClelland MP, has announced a review of the Legislative Instruments Act 2003. The purpose of the review is to examine and report on the operation of the Act. The Committee will shortly release an issues paper and will be calling for submissions from interested persons and organisations.
