ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation's function is to provide radio and television services within Australia and overseas and to promote Australia's musical, dramatic and other performing arts. Established on 1 July 1983 by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Act 1983, the Corporation had previously operated as the Australian Broadcasting Commission since 1 July 1932.

Commonwealth Competitive Neutrality - Guidelines for Managers (PDF, 374.75kb)
All Australian Governments expressed a commitment to the implementation of competitive neutrality principles in the Competition Principles Agreement 1995 (CPA). Following this, the Commonwealth released its own Competitive Neutrality Policy Statement (CNPS) in June 1996. These Guidelines offer assistance in putting into practice the principles of the CNPS.

In February 1994, all Australian Governments agreed on the need to accelerate and broaden progress with implementing microeconomic reforms. This commitment was expressed, in part, in the Competition Principles Agreement (CPA), executed at the Council of Australian Governments' meeting in April 1995.

National Measurement Institute (NMI)
The National Measurement Institute (NMI) is responsible for establishing and maintaining Australia's units and standards of measurement and for coordinating Australia's national measurement system. NMI was formed from the National Measurement Laboratory (CSIRO), the National Standards Commission and the Australian Government Analytical Laboratories and continues their work.
