CSIRO Exploration and Mining
CSIRO Exploration and Mining undertakes strategic research in the minerals and energy industry with specialised skills in the scientific and engineering disciplines of structural geology, petrology, metallogeny, regolith and isotope geochemistry, airborne and borehole geophysics, remote sensing, computer modelling, geomechanics, environmental science, equipment automation and mine planning.

National Offshore Petroleum Safety Authority (NOPSA)

Uranium Mining, Processing and Nuclear Energy Review Taskforce
On 6 June 2006, the Prime Minister announced the appointment of a Taskforce to undertake an objective, scientific and comprehensive review into uranium mining, processing and the contribution of nuclear energy in Australia in the longer term. The Taskforce invites feedback on its draft report by 12 December 2006.
