The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) better positions Australia to meet the threats posed by nationally significant crime. The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) commenced operations on 1 January 2003. The ACC has replaced the National Crime Authority (NCA), the Australian Bureau of Criminal Intelligence (ABCI) and the Office of Strategic Crime Assessments (OSCA).
