The Aged Care Australia website is the Australian Government's premier website about aged care. It provides access to government and non-government information and services and will help people make informed decisions about aged care options for themselves and their family members. It hosts a number of features including an Aged Care Home Finder, a Community Care Service Finder and the My Page feature which allows consumers to store material they have selected from the site. .

Caring for older Australians: Productivity Commission Inquiry Report

The final report - Caring for older Australians - was released by the Productivity Commission on 8 August 2011. In undertaking the inquiry, the Commission was asked to develop detailed options to redesign and reform Australia’s aged care system and to recommend a transition path to a new system.
