The pregnancy, birth & baby helpline 1800 882 436 is a free* telephone and internet support service providing general information about pregnancy, birthing, post-natal care and parenting in the first 12 months. *Mobile charges may apply.

The helpline is not an emergency service. For all emergencies, please call 000.

If you need specific health advice or information please call healthdirect Australia on 1800 022 222 to speak to a Registered Nurse.

Residents of Victoria and Queensland need to call their local telephone health service.
