Register for online services

Service Description

This service allows you to connect your australia.gov.au account to participating government online services.

The registration process will help you create or login to your australia.gov.au account. Using your australia.gov.au account, you can then create online accounts with participating online services and access them with just one user ID and password.

  • Department of Veterans' Affairs online services

 

What do I have to do?

  1. Create an australia.gov.au account, or login to your australia.gov.au account if you already have one.
  2. Select which online service/s you wish to access with your australia.gov.au account.
  3. Enter the activation code provided by the online services agency, or answer a few questions to establish your right to access.

You can now use just one user ID and password to access the online services you selected above.

How long will it take?

As little as 30 seconds if you have been given an activation code by an Australian Government help-desk or at a shop-front.

If you do not have an activation code, you will be asked a few questions. Your answers will be compared to information you have previously provided. You may need to refer to documents, e.g. banking details, doctors receipts or information you have sent to the online services agency, or to letters the agency has sent to you.
