Apply for an Australian adult passport
Australian passports are issued only to Australian citizens. Passport application forms are available online and from most Australia Post outlets. The Australian Passport Office aims to post out your passport within 10 working days of receiving all required information and documentation. You should allow extra time for Australia Post outlets to forward your application to a passport office. If you are in Australia and need your passport in a hurry, you may qualify to lodge your form directly with a Passport Office. If you are overseas, contact your nearest Australian mission.
