Aboriginal Hostel Limited has provided temporary accommodation services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people since 1973. AHL operates its own hostels as well as supporting community organisations to operate theirs.

Centrelink Community Engagement Officers (CCEOs)

Centrelink Community Engagement Officers (CCEO's) provide services to people of all ages who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. CCEO's delivers services to people outside the traditional Customer Service Centre setting, in locations like drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres, mental health units, hostels, boarding houses, refuges, drop-in centres, prison half-way houses, and organised meeting places such as local parks.

First Home Owner Grant

The First Home Owner Grant scheme is a joint Australian and State Government initiative to help first home owners. The grant provides a $7000 benefit to eligible applicants. Each State and Territory Revenue Office is responsible for administering the grant in their respective jurisdiction. This site includes links to the various revenue offices.
