The Australian National Contact Point (NCP) for the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises ("the Guidelines") is the Executive Member of the Foreign Investment Review Board. The Australian NCP was established in 1991 following a review of the Guidelines. NCP's take a variety of forms in each of the adhering countries. The role of NCPs is to ensure the effective implementation and promotion of the Guidelines.
