Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA)
The Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA) is the Australian Government statutory authority responsible for the efficient management of Australian Government fishery resources on behalf of the Australian community and key stakeholders. AFMA manages fisheries within the 200 nautical mile Australian fishing zone (AFZ) and, in some cases, by agreement with the Australian States, to the low water mark. In doing so, AFMA provides management, advisory, compliance and licensing services and implements appropriate fisheries management arrangements.

GOFish
GOFish is the Australian Fisheries Management Authority's (AFMA) online business facility. GOFish enables you to submit applications online, view your record of fishing concessions as held by AFMA, keep your contact details updated, view quota and catch information, receive messages from AFMA and monitor progress of applications lodged with AFMA. To use GOFish you need to sign the Electronic Participation Agreement and return the forms to AFMA.

Torres Strait Protected Zone Joint Authority (PZJA)
The Protected Zone Joint Authority (PZJA) is responsible for management of commercial and traditional fishing in the Australian area of the Torres Strait Protected Zone (TSPZ) and designated adjacent Torres Strait waters.
