Australian Skilled Migrant

Job Capacity Assessment

New enterprise incentive scheme (NEIS)
The New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) helps eligible unemployed people to start up and run a new, viable small business. NEIS can provide you with accredited small business training, business advice and mentoring, as well as ongoing income support for up to 52 weeks.

Tools For Your Trade
The Tools For Your Trade Initiative helps to alleviate the financial burden on eligible Australian Apprentices, usually in the first year of their Australian Apprenticeship, by providing tool kits worth up to $800 including GST. The Tools For Your Trade voucher initiative will cease for new commencements and recommencements from 13 May 2009. As announced in the 2009-2010 Federal Budget, a new method of payment for Australian Apprentices under the new initiative will commence from 1 January 2010.

Youth Pathways
Under Youth Pathways, eligible young people will receive services which include personal one-on-one assistance to help work out strengths, goals and the barriers getting in the way; individual support and guidance to help overcome barriers, and support to achieve their goals. Also provides other services aimed at better equipping young people to successfully make the transition through school and from school to further education, training or employment.
