Biological diversity

Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS)

The Australian Biological Resources Study aims to provide the underlying taxonomic knowledge necessary for the conservation and sustainable use of Australia's biodiversity. ABRS supports research on Australian organisms through a Grants and Scholarship scheme and publishes series of books on our Flora and Fauna.

Centre for Australian National Biodiversity Research and Australian National Herbarium

The Centre for Australian National Biodiversity Research (CANBR) includes the Australian National Herbarium. These are jointly managed by CSIRO and the Director of National Parks with strong links to the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
