The National Industrial Chemicals Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) scientifically assesses industrial chemicals for their health and environmental effects and makes recommendations for safe use. Assessments of more than 1,000 chemicals are available free on this site. This site also provides information to assist the chemical industry to fulfil its responsibilities under NICNAS.
