GMO record

The GMO Record contains information on all GMO dealings approved by, or notified to, the Gene Technology Regulator (the Regulator) or specified in an Emergency Dealing Determination. The purpose of the GMO Record is to provide the Australian public with ready access to information about GMOs and GM product dealings in Australia.

Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR)

The Office of the Gene Technology Regulator (OGTR) is an Australian Government regulatory agency located within the Health and Aged Care portfolio. The OGTR was established by the Gene Technology Act 2000 to be responsible for a national scheme to regulate genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
